Today I wanted to share something I have made recently. I have a few friends whom are moving to another country soon and we always great fun chatting over tea and snacks together. Made this "high quality tea time"card inspired on all our wonderful meetings, which were always of the highest fun quality. Also it's an open invitation to them as they are always welcome over at our place whenever, for tea and crumpets. The above picture is actually the envelope. A few detail shots:
The splats were made with Distress stain Tea dye. The tea time stamp sets I used are from Basic Grey and Marianne Designs.
It's fun to stamp on patterned scrap book paper and layer over to get a fun pattern on the tea cups.
The teapot is actually a die cut card which I separated into two pieces and stained with distress stain tea dye, vintage photo and tarnished brass. The text is written with my Omas Bologna red and KWZink Brown Pink (as are the spatters on the back) which is an instant fave pairing!
I do like how the set looks together. Going to miss you guys (you know who you are), but we'll definitely see each other soon again and meet up for tea for sure!
Entering this in the try it on tuesday "time for tea" challenge
T stands for tuesday as tea is also my fave drink
