Growing up in the 1980's we often watched this morning cartoon series on sky channel. That show had a character whose name was very close to my own and my sister called me that once. It stuck with me and has become my moniker ever since. You can find me on the web as Miss Thundercat.
Art and writing are key words in my life. Combining the two of them is what I like to do best. On my blog you will find work of my Mail Art, my art journal process and mindful musings which are often written with fountain pens and pretty colorful inks. Discovering new art and stationery products are wonderful and I often like to share those discoveries with you, either through a review or a show and tell in my work. Pictures of my cute cat Meesha will definitely pop up here and there.
I try to grow and learn from life, whatever it may throw at me. I'm a very spiritual person and respect all religions/beliefs, but I 'belong' to none. I try to treat everyone with respect and kindness, as compassion is mankind greatest gift. Though I have been through a great deal in the past and I look forward to moments in the future, I try to live very much in the now. As it's factually the only time we ever really have. Some of my mentors are Jon Kabbat Zin, Deepak Chopra, Brené Brown, Eckhart Tolle, Thupten Jinpa and his holiness the Dalai Lama.
If I don’t do something creative daily, whether it’s an art journal page or a written page in my notebooks, I don’t feel I have lived fully that day. That’s why I try to create pockets of time on a daily basis to keep creating and live my life to the fullest.
Thank you for stopping by as it is very much appreciated!
