Art Journal: Soular Eclipse

Eclipse art journal page

Today  am sharing an art journal page I had started during the Solar Eclipse in August and recently finished. This was a page that I had added random papers and imagery to that resulted into this finished journal page.

Eclipse art journal page
I used various gelli prints with stencils combined to the background collage to emulate a galaxy. Ecoline and Neocolor Crayons to pop some color off it, Moon stamp from VLVS!, text stamp from Stampotique, face stamp from Carabelle and written text with Wink of Luna pen and white gel pen.

Sharing this desk shot at my friends at WOYWW this week - glad to finally have the time to share again with Julia and the rest :)

And of course the complete journal page must be shown in full glory.

It says "we are spiritual beings on a human journey" a quote by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin and is also a stamp by Stampotique Originals.

I would like to enter this in the following challenges:

  8. Amazing colours and textures on your page, Cheetarah. I love the shading behind the lettering which really makes it stand out. Thank you for visiting my blog, and I'm glad you like my studio and Zentangles - I love my studio - I had it all fitted out when we moved here, after struggling with a room that was trying to combine studio and office and neither worked properly! I just wish I had more energy to spend time in there!

    Happy WOYWW,

I have that stamp and cannot get a clear image. Her hair is never fully stamped. Any tips? I have even tried with the Misti and still not perfect.
The curved thing on my desk you enquirer about - no idea what it is called, it was a gift. It is to put my phone on so that it links and plays music.
Hugs, Neet (a week late because of Internet here in Spain) xx
